Malcolm Bloom
As a Cyber security program expert, Malcolm has 20+ years experience in
senior cyber security guidance, identifying compliance gaps and managing large, international, time-sensitive projects.
Sena Forensics was founded by Malcolm Bloom to help organisations navigate the growing complexity of cyber security and digital risk.
Together with Bunmi Bloom, they combine deep experience in cyber security strategy, governance, and digital forensics to deliver pragmatic, evidence-based solutions.
Our background includes law enforcement investigations, enterprise security management, and regulatory compliance.
This unique collaboration allows us to bridge the gap between board-level strategy and technical delivery, giving clients confidence that their security programmes are both compliant and operationally effective.
Bunmi Bloom
With over 8 years’ experience in digital forensics, I, Bunmi Bloom, bring strong technical expertise, calm confidence, and a practical, human approach to a field often weighed down by compliance and administration.
After examining thousands of devices, I recognised how many forensic teams are overwhelmed by accreditation and quality requirements when their priority is building capability, meeting KPIs, and delivering better outcomes for victims and stakeholders. Navigating frameworks such as the FSR Code, ILAC G19:2019, and ISO/IEC 17025 can be complex, this insight led me to co-found Sena Forensics with Malcolm Bloom.
I spent 17 years with the Metropolitan Police in operational and specialist roles, including emergency response, training, and later as a Digital Forensic Quality Specialist. In this role, I led internal audits, observed live examinations across forensic hubs, identified improvement opportunities, and supported senior leaders in strengthening compliance, quality, and continual improvement.
I have also worked with the Financial Conduct Authority’s digital forensic team to improve processes, documentation, and workflow efficiency.
Alongside my technical work, I am a strong advocate for wellbeing, having served as a voluntary Police Welfare Support Officer providing one-to-one support. I hold a BSc (Hons) in Accounting and Management Information Systems, UKAS and validation certifications, and have provided expert witness evidence in court relating to mobile data analysis.
